The City Council Monday night rejected 6-3 an ordinance that would have rezoned three parcels of land on Cleveland Avenue from "R-5 Low Density Multiple Family" to "B-1 Office- Residential.

"I'm comfortable where I'm at," financial advisor Nathan Raddatz said in the wake of the council not adopting an ordinance that would likely have led to his purchase of one acre of land and building a new 6,200-square-foot, two-story commercial office building at a cost of about $750,000.
