Marshfield Utilities Commission agrees to furthering communication with rate payers

While the Marshfield City Council is working to keep taxes low and reduce expenses in city departments, council members have said the Marshfield Utilities Commission is doing the opposite.

Tuesday night, the two entities met during a special joint meeting during a regular meeting of the City Council. The two bodies agreed to work toward better communication with each other.

The Utilities Commission also agreed to televise its monthly meeting on the city's cable access channel to increase public access to information about Marshfield Utilities. ...
