St. Patrick's Day parade and party coming to Oshkosh

The group of volunteers that make up Oshkosh Festivals, responsible for producing Oshkosh Irish Fest and Oshkosh Oktoberfest, is launching a brand new event for 2013, a St. Patrick's Day Parade and Tent Party on Saturday, March 16.

The family-friendly party will start at 4 p.m. in a giant, heated tent located at 547 N. Main St., and will feature two live bands, Irish dancers, Irish food, Guinness beverages, and even Cultural displays on topics such as Saint Patrick and Ireland's history. The parade will kick-off at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Oshkosh and travel up Main Street to Irving Avenue. ...
