It wasn't the prettiest goal of Brady Borell's career, but it turned out to the be the difference-maker Tuesday.

The junior defenseman knocked in his own rebound with just over three minutes left in regulation after Wisconsin Rapids goalie Tyler Gilbert lost control of the puck on the initial shot to give D.C. Everest a 2-1 win in the beginning of critical stretch of Wisconsin Valley Conference games for the Evergreens.

Everest scored twice in the final 7 minutes, 16 seconds of regulation and remained tied with Stevens Point Area Senior High for second place in the WVC with games against the ...
