In the end, it was just another road loss for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team.

But in this one, a 73-61 defeat at Valparaiso on Wednesday for its ninth straight road loss dating to last season, the Phoenix had its chances.

Despite falling behind by 16 points in the first half, UWGB was within three points until reigning Horizon League player of the year Ryan Broehkoff hit a step-back 3-pointer from the right wing with 1:40 left in the game to end any chance it had of grabbing its first road win in eight tries this season. ...
