Musical explores issues faced by high school students

It's not often that high school students have the opportunity to perform an original musical. It's even less often that the writer of that musical is their choir director.

When Pacelli High School students present "SPIRIT: The Musical" at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday it will be the first time the show has been performed outside of New York. It also will be the first time the production has included an all-high school cast playing the show's high school-age characters.
