Two injured in Town of Neenah crash

Jan. 25, 2013

TOWN OF NEENAH — Two people were injured and pinned inside their vehicle after crashing into a tree Friday morning.

Around 1:30 a.m., the driver, a 25-year-old Neenah man, lost control of the vehicle just north of Rickers Bay, according to Lt. Gordon Ledioyt of the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office.

The driver and his passenger, a 25-year-old woman, had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life, Ledioyt said.

The crash broke a few of the woman’s bones, but her injuries are not life threatening, he said. The driver was treated for minor lacerations and released from the hospital.
