Jan. 25, 1958 - State architects to honor Berners: Edgar Berners of the architectural firm of Foeller, Schober, Berners, Safford and Jahn, will be honored at the convention of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Institute of Architects in Madison Feb. 11 and 12.

Berners has been a longtime member of the Green Bay firm, and played a key role in the design of the new St. Vincent Hospital. Berners and three Milwaukee architects will receive the honor as members of the Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.

State and national representatives of the profession will address the convention. Among them will be A.L. Buechner, supervisor of School Building Service for the State Department of Public Instruction, who will conduct a seminar on "Are Our Schools Modern?"
