The Brown and Manitowoc county drunken-driving task forces are each planning two deployments this weekend.

Known as a power weekend, each crew will patrol tonight and Saturday night at undisclosed locations, according to Michael Panosh of the Wisconsin State Patrol's Bureau of Transportation Safety.

The Sheboygan County unit will patrol one night this weekend.

Since beginning in February 2011, the Brown County OWI Task Force has issued 325 drunken-driving citations, stopped almost 2,800 vehicles and distributed more than 2,400 warnings.

The multijurisdictional unit is made up of the Green Bay, De Pere and Hobart-Lawrence police departments, the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department, the Brown County Sheriff's Department and the State Patrol.
