Algoma shook off a slow first-quarter to pull off a 56-32 home victory over Green Bay Northeast Wisconsin Lutheran in Packerland Conference girls basketball action Jan 22.

The Wolves (13-1, 9-0 Packerland) have won their last 15 games against N.E.W. Lutheran (5-8, 2-7), last losing to the Blazers in 2006.

Taylor Schmidt led the Wolves with 14 points. Schmidt has been averaging nearly 13 points a game in the Packerland. Freshman Baleigh Delorit scored 11 points. ...
