Fox Valley Civil Liberties Union to hold public events

The Fox Valley Civil Liberties Union chapter announces two events open to the public.

A Forum on Legalizing Marijuana will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Oshkosh Public Library. Moderator will be Steve Richards, professor of criminal justice at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a FVCLU board member. Also in attendance will be Jay Selthofner of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, Richard Martin of Northern Wisconsin NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws), Kirk Everson, an attorney from Fond du Lac, and a physician to be announced.

The second event is the Annual Chapter Meeting/Dinner on Friday, April 26 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Robbins Restaurant in Oshkosh. Featured speaker is attorney George Curtis, a frequent public speaker with over 40 years of legal experience and host of a TV program on the law.
