A nearly two-year-old arson case against a former Waldo volunteer firefighter is now headed to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

At issue is whether 19-year-old Andrew M. Edler's constitutional rights were violated when he was questioned by police during an investigation into a pair of 2011 arson fires in the Town of Lima that he's accused of setting.

The state Supreme Court agreed last week to accept the case for review after a state appeals court determined that the case involves "important undecided issues of federal and state constitutional law," court filings show. ...
