Weston could cut services, jobs as it plans for future

Village leaders have begun to develop a three-year strategic plan in an effort to better prepare for the municipality's future, and that, officials say, could mean cutting services and eliminating jobs.

The plan - presented Jan. 21 by Village Administrator Daniel Guild and endorsed by the Weston Village Board at a regularly scheduled Village Board meeting - outlined a series of five tasks leading up to its proposed September adoption.
