The latest issue of Cooking Light magazine (January/February 2013) had a great article for chocolate lovers like myself: "100-Calorie Chocolate Hits." While being big on the chocolate flavor, these treats are small on calories and guilt.

Pistachio-Coated Chocolate-Dipped Apples: Dip 3 apple wedges into melted dark chocolate. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of crushed pistachios.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel: Smear the end of 1 pretzel rod with 1 teaspoon of creamy peanut butter. Dip into 1 teaspoon melted chocolate chips.

Deconstructed S'mores: Dip 2 large marshmallows into 1 tablespoon melted chocolate chips. Roll in 2 teaspoons cinnamon graham cracker crumbs.

Chocolate Peppermint Patty: Stir 1 finely crushed peppermint candy into 3 tablespoons softened chocolate frozen yogurt. Spoon yogurt between 2 chocolate wafer cookies. Press gently to seal.

Mexican Chocolate Pudding: Stir teaspoon cinnamon, teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper into 1 cup of fat-free chocolate pudding. Top with 1 tablespoon of thawed fat-free whipped topping.

Crunchy Chocolate Hazelnut Sandwich: Break 1 chocolate graham cracker rectangle in half. Spread tablespoon chocolate-hazelnut spread onto one half. Top with remaining half.
