Panel to review Wood County employee wage study

The Wood County Board has approved the creation of a committee to review an employee compensation plan that it rejected last month and to develop a new proposal within 60 days.

At the end of a two-hour special meeting Wednesday night, board members approved the creation of the panel, to which Chairman Lance Pliml appointed five members, with a recommendation to also include one department head and another county employee as nonvoting members.
