A man accused of stabbing his live-in girlfriend to death last summer got a life sentence today but can request parole in 42 years - on his victim's birthday.
Richard Gardipee, 32, was found guilty by jury in December and was sentenced in Brown County Circuit Court today for the June 30 death of Wendy Garcia, also known as Wendy Botsford, 26, in their home on Christiana Street.
