Men's basketball: UWGB beats UWM, ends road skid with second-half spurt

If ever there was a road game the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team could win this season, then Friday's game at UW-Milwaukee seemed like the one.

The Panthers, struggling through their worst year since a 9-22 season in 2006-07, were coming off a historically bad performance on Wednesday, when they scored just eight second-half points (the fewest in a half in program history) in a loss at Illinois-Chicago to fall further into the Horizon League basement.

As a sign of just how poorly UWM has played this season, the Phoenix, which has lost all eight road games this season ...
