Hospice: Compassionate volunteers are needed throughout the region to support hospice patients and their families in their homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and at House of the Dove. Ministry Home Care is offering its free four-session volunteer training in Marshfield on Thursday afternoons beginning Feb. 28. To register or get more information, call Deb Hickey at 800-397-4216.

Hospital: Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital invites you to share your time and talents for a few hours each week to work in a variety of service areas. Training is provided for all positions. ? Ministry Home Care-Hospice Services/House of the Dove: Care for others and utilize your patience and listening skills. Learn how to help people live out the remaining time of their lives with as much comfort and dignity as possible. Duties may include: assist adult volunteers and staff prepare/serve meals; read to patients; visit with patients' families; computer/clerical support; and, special projects. Respecting confidentiality is a must. A variety of shifts are available.
