Mitch Friedman took another step to his ultimate goal on Saturday.

The Oconto Falls senior kept his undefeated season intact by winning an individual title at the 44th annual Pulaski Invite, which was won by Wausau West.

But what meant more to Division 2's top-ranked 138-pounder was that in the finals he was able to face Valders senior Stetson McCulley, who is ranked second and a sure challenger to the state title Friedman covets. ...
