Screenwriter Phil Johnston used words like 'weird' and 'thrilling' to describe the Oscar nomination for 'Wreck-It Ralph.'
"Turns out I don't need a medal to tell me I'm a good guy," Wreck-It Ralph says in the 2012 animated Disney film of the same name. "Because if that little kid likes me, how bad can I be?"
It's no surprise the man who wrote the "Wreck-It Ralph" script has a similar outlook on awards.
