Six Wisconsin residents and four people from other states were announced today as finalists for the Green Bay Packers Fan Hall of Fame.

One of the 10 will be elected to the Fan Hall of Fame. All voting will be online. Votes can be cast until midnight Feb. 22 at www0.nfl.packers.com/fan_zone/fan-hall-of-fame/voting.

Two Green Bay-area residents are among the finalists: Stephen Gay of Luxemburg and Dave Rickert of Freedom. Other finalists from Wisconsin are Edward Fritsch of Sheboygan, Melissa Jacobs of Wauwatosa, Ronald Mihm of Lisbon and Barbara Lee Mollberg of Greenfield. The remaining finalists are Eric Breuer of Yorktown, Va.; George Oudhuis of Carlisle, Ind; Kevin Taylor of Decatur, Ala.; and J. Christopher Windisch of Williston Park, N.Y.

The winner will be announced on March 26. He or she will be the 15th fan to be enshrined.

The winner will receive four club seats to a 2013 Packers home game; a $500 Packers Pro Shop gift certificate; game tickets, air fare and hotel accommodations for two to a 2013 Packers away game; and a one-year subscription to Packers Plus. The winner’s name will be permanently displayed in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.

Voters will be entered into a random drawing to win a 2013 road trip to a Packers away game.

Fans were asked to nominate themselves or a friend by submitting an essay of up to 500 words explaining why he or she should be recognized. Finalists were chosen by a selection committee.

The Fan Hall of Fame was established in 1998.
