Each week, Press-Gazette Media will recognize outstanding prep basketball achievements with the American Family Insurance all-Press-Gazette Media performances of the week. Here are the selections for the week of Jan. 21 to Jan. 26.

Boys basketball performance of the week

Seymour junior Casey Jefson drained six 3-pointers to score a game-high 18 points in a 65-33 victory at Marinette on Jan. 22. The 5-foot-11 guard followed that up with four 3s and a game-high 20 points in a 68-56 win against Luxemburg-Casco on Jan. 24.

Girls basketball performance of the week

Bay Port senior Chelsea Nooker had 14 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals in 51-37 victory against Pulaski on Jan. 24

Honorable mention boys performances

Bay Port's Peyton Armstrong recorded 19 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals during a 71-55 victory against Ashwaubenon on Jan. 22. The 6-foot-1 senior was 7-for-8 from the field, including 4-for-4 from 3-point range.

Peshtigo junior Jordan Berth scored 13 of his game-high 25 points in the third quarter in a 73-12 win over Lena on Jan. 22. It was the Bulldogs' 46th straight Marinette-Oconto victory, which set a new conference record.

Suring senior Dan Sweda scored 25 points, including seven 3-pointers, in a 60-46 win against Gillett on Jan. 22.

Pulaski senior Cody Wichmann tallied a game-high 25 points, including five 3-pointers, in a 74-44 win over Green Bay Notre Dame on Jan. 22.

Honorable mention girls performances

Crandon's Sara Cotrell scored a game-high 25 points, including six of the Cardinals' eight points in overtime to win at Wabeno 48-43 on Jan. 24.

Algoma freshman guard Baleigh Delorit combined for 27 points in a pair of victories last week, including a game-high 15 points with four 3-pointers against Manitowoc Lutheran on Jan. 24.

Luxemburg-Casco junior guard Lexi Kinnard drained four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Spartans 51-46 victory against Seymour on Jan. 25.

Oconto Falls junior guard McKenna Larsen posted 21 points in a 51-46 double overtime victory at Denmark on Jan. 22 and 14 points in a 56-28 win against West De Pere on Jan. 25.
