As President Barack Obama prepares to lay out his immigration plan during a speech today in Las Vegas, a group of bipartisan senators reached agreement on a framework to overhaul the nation's immigration system.

The plan addresses border security, the ability of businesses to check immigration status and a streamlined process for future immigrants to enter the United States. It also opens a path to citizenship for the 11 million illegal immigrants currently living in the country.
