Crash Friday causes vehicle to hit building on Central Ave.

A 33-year-old Amherst man was cited for disregarding a traffic control after the vehicle he was driving struck a building in the city's downtown at 8:45 p.m. Friday, according to a Marshfield Police Department accident report.

Peter A. Groshek was driving north on Central Avenue about 30 to 35 mph and said he thought he had a green light at the intersection with Second Street, according to the report.
