CONTRADICTION? Regarding President Barack Obama's gun proposal following the death of 20 children in Newtown, he said to vote your conscience. One has to wonder if he voted his conscience in 1997 when he was an Illinois senator. On Senate Bill 230, the partial-birth abortion ban act, he voted present, which effectively functions as a "no" vote. It passed 44-7. I guess one's conscience is dictated by one's desire to achieve their own personal agenda. Otherwise, how do you explain the contradiction?
