Super Bowl revelers warned not to drink, drive

In an effort to curb drunken driving, more law enforcement officers than usual will be on duty Sunday in Fond du Lac County.

The additional officers will be working through grants provided by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office, drunken driving continues to be "prevalent and persistent," in Wisconsin. In 2011, 225 people were killed and nearly 3,000 were injured in alcohol-related traffic crashes in the state, according to a department news release.
