Area residents are riding the weather roller coaster this week, experiencing springlike temperatures on Tuesday, then likely battling snow and bitter cold again by Thursday.

"It's been a while since I've used a snow shovel and umbrella in the same week," said Megan Simon of Fond du Lac. "Lightning, thunder, rain, sleet, snow, ice and subzero temperatures - gotta love Wisconsin winters!"
