Birthday gifts for humane society

8:58 PM, Jan. 28, 2013  |  Comments
Janessa Brown of Marshfield told her mom, Nikki Brown, in November that she wanted to get shoes to donate to an orphange instead of birthday presents for her 11th birthday in January. Her mom explained there aren't orphanages in Wisconsin and suggested she look into something else. As Janessa got closer to handing out her invitations, she set her mind on helping the Clark County Humane Society. Some of the donations came in gift bags, so Janessa still was able to open presents. She already is working on which place she wants to help next January.
