Burst pipe temporarily closes Sheboygan downtown restaurant Margaux

Margaux Bistro and Wine Bar is closed temporarily after a frozen water pipe upstairs burst last week, causing the ceiling of the restaurant's kitchen to collapse.

Chef Rob Hurrie said he hopes the restaurant, located at 821 N. Eighth St., will be ready to reopen early next week.

Hurrie's wife Katy Hurrie, who discovered the damage when she came to the restaurant Thursday morning, said the pipe burst in the vacant second and third floors of the building. The flooding on the upper floors caused the ceiling of their kitchen to collapse. ...
