Renea Dahms wants to make it easier for people to train their dogs.

The owner of Pawsitively Unleashed, which offers training and behavior lessons, and a boarding kennel, Dahms opened a Stevens Point location at 3501 Church St. She recently published a book on dog training, "Family Companion Dog: An Owner's Manual for Relationship Centered Leadership."

Dahms said she had been giving handouts as part of individual training sessions with dogs and their owners, and some told her she should put them all in a book. The book debuted Jan. 3. ...
