February, the shortest month of the year, has one of the busiest holidays of the year with the 14th being Valentine's Day.

Along with this holiday, February is also Healthy Heart month. Would you like to change your lifestyle with healthy cooking or some exercise DVDs? Or maybe walking would be more to your liking, while listening to books on CD. Stop in at the library and check out these items for your new healthy lifestyle.

As long as we are talking about February, here are a few interesting facts:

? Feb. 3 is considered "The Day the Music Died." It commemorates the untimely death of singers Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper in an airplane crash at the height of their popularity.

? Feb. 4 is "Thank a Mailman Day." Regardless of the weather, six days a week, he (or she) delivers your mail. Thank your mailman that day.

? Feb. 20 is "Northern Hemisphere Hoodie-Hoo Day." On this winter day, people go out at noon, wave their hands over their heads and chant "Hoodie-Hoo." It is a day to chase away winter and bring spring.

? Feb. 26 is "Tell A Fairy Tale Day." It is a great opportunity for you to read to your kids a great fairy tale, and you can find them at your library!
