Space shuttle disaster to be remembered Friday at Spaceport Sheboygan

To offer 'insider's perspective' on disaster

On Friday, Sheboygan area space experts will provide an insider's perspective on the tragic loss of seven astronauts in the breakup of the Space Shuttle Columbia over Texas exactly 10 years ago.

"Remembering the crews that have been lost in spaceflight is important. On this 10-year anniversary we will bring the information gained to the public," said Daniel Bateman, executive director of Spaceport Sheboygan.
