A state Court of Appeals on Wednesday ruled Brendan Dassey, 22, will not receive a new trial following his conviction for the October 2005 sexual assault and murder of Teresa Halbach.

Dassey was 16 when the murder of the 25-year-old photographer occurred.

Dassey's uncle, Steven Avery, was tried and convicted separately and both men were sentenced to life in prison in 2007 for the first-degree intentional homicide, sexually assaulting Halbach and mutilating her corpse. ...
