Mayor stresses economy, youth and government efficiency in first State of the City address

Building the local economy, attracting and retaining young adults and families and making city government more efficient are vital to achieving a better Wisconsin Rapids, the city's top executive said.

In his first State of the City address, Mayor Zach Vruwink said moving the community forward will require a change from traditional approaches to economic development.
