'The hills are alive': SPASH students to present 'Sound of Music'

It's never easy to replicate a classic, and the cast, crew and directors involved with Stevens Point Area Senior High's upcoming production of the classic musical "The Sound of Music" are working to put their own twist on the popular show.

"With something this popular, people come in with expectations," said director Dena Mercer. "We have to show them this is how we make it sound, and this is how we make it look. This is the best production you are going to see at SPASH.

"It's been challenging because of how well-known the show is, but we are making it our own." ...
