Frank Potter wants to quit smoking and appreciates his employer offers the resources to help him kick the habit.

"There's times you wonder why they want healthy workers, but it's great that they do, because it's a win-win for both sides," said Potter of Appleton, who has worked for Appleton Papers for 40 years.

He was among the attendees at Thursday's public unveiling of Appleton Papers' new workplace medical clinic, which is staffed and managed by ThedaCare. The clinic isn't accessible to the public but its services are offered Monday through Friday at no charge to Appleton's 870 employees, ...
