Shopko said Thursday it has finished converting 163 Pamida stores to Shopko Hometown locations.

The completion of the conversions comes about a year after the Ashwaubenon-based retailer announced its merger with Pamida. Shopko said it invested $70 million in the conversions.

With the completion of the conversions, Shopko operates 176 Shopko Hometown stores. It had 10 of the smaller stores at the same time last year.
