Girls basketball: Spartans bring down Seymour

Luxemburg-Casco (2-12, 2-8 Bay) picked up its second girls basketball win of the season with a 51-46 home victory over Seymour (7-8, 5-5) on Jan. 25.

Lexi Kinnard had arguably the Spartans' best individual performance of the season by scoring 26 points; a total that includes four 3-pointers. Maggie Liebeck grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in her return to the lineup after an injury.

L-C's 13-7 third quarter was pivotal; Seymour held a slight 29-28 edge in the rest of the quarters. ...
