Boys basketball: Kewaunee Storm powers over Sevastopol

Kewaunee (3-14, 3-7 Packerland Conference) completed a boys basketball season sweep of Sevastopol (2-13, 1-9) on Jan. 25 with a 50-40 road win - the Storm beat the Pioneers 54-46 in December.

In the first half the Storm's defense only allowed nine points and Kewaunee had a comfortable 17-point lead heading into the game's latter quarters.

"I thought our first-half defensive effort was tremendous. When you only give up nine points in a half that's fantastic, especially in a gym that we have historically struggled in," said Kewaunee head coach Adam Murphy. ...
