Wind chill advisory in effect until noon

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory that remains in effect until noon Friday.

An arctic air mass has settled across northeast Wisconsin. The cold air combined with moderate west to northwest winds has driven wind chill indices to 25 to 30 degrees below zero.

The very low temperatures can result in frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. The NWS advises individuals going outdoors to wear a hat and gloves. ...
