10 YEARS AGO: Marshfield's Teacher Association president Richard Halle and grievance committee chairwoman Vickie Clark resigned their positions during an executive committee meeting. The two stepped down in the wake of a survey that was taken to find what percentage of union membership supported the district's $31.4 million building referendum.

A game winning shot gave Loyal girls a win over Neillsville Friday night. With 4.1 seconds left, the Greyhounds sank the final shot, beating the Warriors 44-43.
