Two Neenah men have been arrested following a disturbance outside a campus-area bar early Friday morning.

Oshkosh Police responded to The Dark Horse Bar and Grill, 120 Wisconsin St., at 1:45 a.m. Friday after receiving a report that a 21-year-old Oshkosh man was unconscious after he was punched in the face and fell backwards, hitting his head on the ground, said Joe Nichols, spokesman for the department.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he received staples in his head, Nichols said.

Officers arrested the 21-year-old Neenah man who punched the Oshkosh man for disorderly conduct and substantial battery.

While taking the man into custody, his friend, a 22-year-old Neenah man, became upset and was not listening to officers. He was pepper sprayed, but kept swinging his arms. Officers eventually Tasered him and took him into custody for resisting and disorderly conduct.

Both men were taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
