NEENAH - A second-grade teacher at Tullar Elementary School was removed from her job after she sent pictures of her students in school settings to a prison inmate.

Students' parents were notified in a letter sent home Thursday afternoon.

The teacher, Christina Peerenboom, was removed from her duties on Jan. 25. She was put on paid leave to give the district time to consider its options, but she resigned Thursday morning before administrators discussed whether she would be fired. ...
