Jury convicts man in fatal crash case

A jury needed just under three hours Friday to decide an Oshkosh man's driving played a substantial role in causing a multiple-vehicle crash on State Highway 44 last spring that killed another driver.

The jury of seven women and five men found Justin W. VanDera, 32, guilty of homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle, second-degree reckless endangerment, causing death while operating a motor vehicle after revocation and three counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
