Oshkosh's potent top line was held in check Saturday night and the Ice Hawks dropped a 6-1 decision to Fond du Lac in the championship game of the Badgerland Conference Tournament.

Eddie Dempsey collected the lone Oshkosh goal just with about six minutes left in the first period, but that was all the Ice Hawks could scrounge up against Cardinals' netminder Charlie Blagoue.

Blagoue finished with 30 saves, stonewalling the Ice Hawks in the final two periods as Fond du Lac pulled away for the win. ...
