LETTER: How about exposés on these tax drainers?

Thank you for the investigative report, "What We Pay, Your Tax Dollars." As taxpayers and public employees, we certainly understand this is of public record.

As taxpayers we anticipate the continuation of your efforts in "What We Pay" to include the names and amounts of pay of those receiving food stamps, welfare cards and free heat.

As taxpayers we don't view this as a problem unless your primary function was to ignite the class warfare created by Gov. Scott Walker. But if not, let's proceed.

Speaking of the governor, how about an in-depth report on his travel itinerary and expenses?

How about a report on the $5 million tax dollars he gave to Plexus, a Neenah company that terminated employees at a record pace in 2012? How about the $8 million tax dollars the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation lost at the hands of not one, but two department heads?

We taxpayers request a report on the governor's thoughts and consideration of donating $5 million tax dollars to the Bradley Center for luxury boxes. This news was reported on WTMJ Radio.

The Reporter is certainly on a roll at this point, so don't forget state lawmakers as they receive nearly $100 per day for expenses.

As the investigative pencils are being sharpened, let's remember this, many of us have worked overtime to make a better life for ourselves and our families. However, in many cases, forced overtime has meant not being at home on Christmas morning or the like.

As of this writing, Gov. Walker and his policies have ranked Wisconsin as number 42 nationally in jobs creation. Seventy of Wisconsin's 72 counties have reported an increase in unemployment.

There is so much to investigate. My taxpaying co-workers and I await your reports.
