Gamblers trade goaltender Mike Rotolo for third-round draft choice

The Green Bay Gamblers traded goaltender Mike Rotolo and a sixth-round USHL Entry Draft pick to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders for a third-round draft choice on Monday.

Taking over as the primary starter in his second season with the Gamblers, Rotolo was 14-8-1 with a 2.85 goals-against average and .901 save percentage. He made his last start in a 6-4 loss at Indiana on Jan. 13.

Green Bay native Tony Kujava and Richard Ullberg having been rotating starts in the Gamblers' last five games. Kujava (4-2) has a 2.76 gaa and .911 save percentage, while Ullberg (2-0) has a 2.01 gaa and .934 save percentage since being acquired by the team last month.
