When a group of military veterans gets together, it can seem at times like there is no end to the friendly banter.

That was the scene Sunday afternoon at the Knights of Columbus hall in Marshfield during a Super Bowl fundraiser to benefit Never Forgotten Honor Flight, the nationwide effort to fly war veterans to Washington, D.C., to see the memorials honoring men and women who served.

"It's so emotional for the veterans. Nobody did the thank you's for them like they do today for our service people. When they come back (from an Honor Flight trip), you can just see how emotional they are," said ...
