Register for large-scale farm meeting

An update meeting for farms approaching 1,000 animal units will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Marshfield Agriculture Research Station. Cost is $25, which includes lunch and materials.

The goal of this meeting is to bring together farm owners/operators, agency personnel, agriculture professionals, and educators to improve nutrient management plan implementation, communication between plan writers, permit holders and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Additional information will be provided during the sessions on regulations that will impact large farming operations.

Advance registration is requested, and information can be found at http://clark.uwex.edu or call the Clark County Clark UW-Extension Office at 715-743-5121.
