Locals land spot on Super Bowl commercial

John Schreiner's favorite football team - the Green Bay Packers - wasn't playing in Sunday's Super Bowl championship game but it will be a game that the Athens High School basketball coach will never forget.

Moments before the 5:30 p.m. kick-off, the 47-year-old Athens resident got a split-second of fame when his face flashed to roughly 115 million viewers across the nation during a Pizza Hut commercial.

His wife and son let out a collective "ah" the second they saw him on the screen. Then, his phone lit up with text messages from the basketball players he coaches and friends. Facebook ...
